What you are buying, what it costs, when it comes, and how to get your money back.

You are buying from Andrea Pizzo, in Pennsylvania. One person, not a company with a call centre. If something goes wrong, you write to her and she answers.
What is for sale
- The hardcover, $39.99
- I'm Italian! I'm Punching Myself in the Face. 48 recipes, printed in colour. It is a pre-order: the run is being printed now, you pay today, and it is posted the day the books land. The whole book as a PDF comes with it, free, the minute you pay.
- The digital copy, $29.99
- The same book as a PDF, emailed the minute you pay. Nothing is posted, so there is no postage.
Postage
Postage is charged per order, not per book, because the books go in one package. Inside the United States:
- 1 book: $6.99
- 2 books: $7.99
- 3 books: $8.99
- 4 books: $9.99
- 5 books: $10.99
- 6 books: $11.99
She does not post outside the United States yet. If you are abroad and you want one, write to her before you pay.
Sales tax
Where the law says tax is due on your order, it is worked out at the checkout and shown to you before you pay. Nothing is added after.
When a pre-order arrives
She will not give you a date she is not sure of. The books are printed, then checked by hand, then posted. The day yours is boxed you get an email with the tracking on it.
The PDF is not part of that wait. It reaches you the minute you pay, so you can cook from the book tonight.
If a run is late enough that you would rather have your money, say so and you get it back in full, as long as the book has not been posted.
Refunds
- The hardcover, before it ships
- You have 48 hours from the moment you order to cancel. After that the PDF is already yours, so a cancellation gets you 10 percent back, not the whole price.
- The hardcover, if it turns up damaged or wrong
- Full refund, or a new copy, whichever you want. Send her a photograph. She does not argue about this.
- The digital copy
- It cannot be sent back once it has been sent, so it is not refundable. If the file will not open, write to her and she fixes it.
- The Cannoli Club
- It is a month at a time. Stop it whenever you like and you are not charged again. The month you have paid for runs out.
The reason the PDF changes the refund: it arrives instantly, and she has watched people in her own circle take a digital copy and then send the book back. That is why the rule is written this way, and she would rather tell you than surprise you.
What is hers
The recipes, the words and the photographs are hers. Cook from them for the rest of your life, feed anybody you like, and tell people where you got them. Do not copy the book, sell it, or put it on another website.
What you agree to
Give her a real address and a real email, or the book cannot reach you. That is the whole of it.
If something goes wrong
Write to andreascannolilove@gmail.com. A real person reads it. Please try that before you ring your bank, because she can usually fix it faster than they can.
