Andrea’sCannoli Love

Her great-grandmother cooked on a dairy farm in Sicily and never wrote a word of it down. Her grandmother cooked from memory. Andrea is the one who finally sat down and put it on paper, and she is still cooking it every week.

Andrea, and the cannoli the book is named for
A plate of her own meatballs, in her own kitchen

Who she is

It started on a Sunday morning that smelled like sauce

My name is Andrea, and my story begins in Brooklyn, New York, where I was born and raised in a loving, old-school Italian-American family. We later moved to Staten Island, and today I live in Pennsylvania with my husband, parents, and family. Although the places I have called home have changed throughout the years, the heart of my home has always remained the same: family, faith, food, and love.

The Recipe Storybook

Ellis Island, New York

Her grandparents came through here with their recipes and not much else, and went on to Manhattan and then Brooklyn.
