These stuffed artichokes were always part of Thanksgiving in my family… but honestly? We’d make them anytime because once you taste them, ya don’t wanna wait for a holiday
I remember helping my grandmother and my mother make these when I was little. Me and my sisters would all be in the kitchen together stuffing artichokes while the music played loud through the house.
And not today’s music either… I’m talkin’ the GOOD stuff.
Frank Sinatra,
Dean Martin,
Nat King Cole,
Johnny Mathis…
You know… the kind of music that just belongs with good Italian food and a kitchen full of people yelling over each other
The smell of garlic, Italian parsley, breadcrumbs, cheese, olive oil… unreal. That’s childhood right there for me.
And every family makes stuffed artichokes a little different, but this is OUR way.
